I'm a retired librarian who has loved and been surrounded by books since birth. My favorite childhood memories center around bedtime reading and storytelling. To this day, I can't stand to see one empty space on a bookshelf and I'm a firm believer that there is no such thing as having too many books. I'm so happy that my affiliation with Barefoot combines my love of books, education and community involvement.
Located in Glenshaw, PA, servicing customers throughout the US and Canada
Founded in 1993 by two moms in their homes in England, Barefoot is now an international independent children's book publisher with headquarters offices in Bath, England and Cambridge, Massachusetts, a retail store in Cambridge and a retail boutique in FAO Schwartz in New York City. The same two moms who founded the company in their kitchens still run the company on a day-to-day basis. Barefoot uses authors and illustrators from around the world to share the rich, traditional folklore of various cultures among children throughout the world. Barefoot, as a company, partners with various international children's and environmental organizations to make this planet a better place on which to live. Fundraising the Barefoot way.
Fundraising the Barefoot way is really fundraising YOUR way. We don't have a generic "one size fits all" program. We prefer to work with you individually to tailor a program that will fit your organization and your own unique needs. You can earn between 25% to 35% of the total sales in either FREE books or cash. If you choose the free books option, you choose them from our entire collection of products -- no limitations to certain items or segments of our product line. The cash option is great for organizations that don't need books and is ideal for corporations who might want to donate cash to a favorite charity.
Your event can be a cash n carry event, a catalog order only event, an online ordering event, or a combination of any or all three. It can be a one day deal, or run for x amount of days, weeks, months, or be an all-year round event. Online button links on your web site can continuously generate earnings as well.
